Acuity is a straight 1% crit bonus per point, for a total of 3%
Ancestral Resolve reduces damage taken by 5/10% while casting, which can be useful for learning new encounters, or those with high raid damage. Be aware that it only works while casting, so instant casts like shocks will leave you without the damage reduction.
Convection reduces the mana cost of spells by 5/10%. This can be useful if you are having mana issues, or are setting up an AoE specific spec.
Elemental Warding reduces magic damage taken by 4/8/12% which can be useful for learning new encounters, or those with high raid damage.
Generally you will want to use Acuity & Reverberation as they will be direct DPS improvements, and put the remaining two points into the other talents. Ideally this should be either Elemental Warding or Totemic Reach, but you may use the other two if you wish. Another possibility is to completely drop Earthquake, or have a secondary spec without it as it is only required for AE centric fights.
